Your tasks:
- Understanding and handling of the German national Co2 mandate – observance, management and creation of monthly balances and emission reports;
- Submission of required reports, in particular greenhouse gas emissions registration and national Co2 tax monitoring plan;
- Develop an understanding of European biofuels mandates for the road fuel, aviation and maritime segments and support of the trading team to convert mandate obligations into commercial opportunities;
- Actively engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders as well as specialist departments to establish an understanding of European sustainability regulations and drive commercial opportunities linked to these regulations;
- Organisation and execution of yearly ISCC-audits;
- Day-to-day interaction with the biofuels trading and renewable fuels teams.
Your profile:
- University degree in sustainability, business, natural sciences or other related fields;
- Ambition to actively drive the renewable change in the transportation industry;
- Understanding of business and commercial rationale;
- Communicative team player with a confident demeanour, self-motivated and able to work autonomously and manage own workload;
- Experience in the biofuels energy industry or sustainability compliance consulting is a plus.
